Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Obelisk ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all versions of Obelisk, including the iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS applications, and the obeliskplayer.com website.

Obelisk is a media player application that allows you to stream content from IPTV providers using Xtream Codes or M3U playlist protocols. Obelisk does not provide, host, distribute, or make available any media content itself.

You must have your own valid IPTV subscription from a third-party provider to use Obelisk's streaming features. Obelisk is only a player.

By using Obelisk, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years old, or have parental consent if younger.
• You will only stream content you have the legal right to access.
• Your IPTV subscription is obtained from a legitimate provider.
• You will not use Obelisk to access, stream, or redistribute content that infringes on any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
• You are solely responsible for the content you access through Obelisk.

You may not use Obelisk to:

• Access pirated or unlicensed copyrighted content.
• Redistribute or re-stream any content without the rights holder's authorization.
• Circumvent geographic restrictions or DRM systems in ways that violate applicable law.
• Use the app for commercial purposes without our written consent.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code from the App.

Obelisk offers a one-time Premium upgrade through the Apple App Store. Once purchased, the Premium license is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device signed in with the same Apple ID at no additional cost.

All purchases are final and processed by Apple. Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with their standard refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

The Premium tier removes all advertising and grants access to all current and future Premium features as defined at the time of your purchase.

Non-Premium users will be shown advertisements provided by Google AdMob. You may opt out of personalized advertising through the consent prompts displayed at first launch or via your device settings.

Channel switch frequency may trigger the display of interstitial ads or an upgrade prompt as part of the free experience.

The QR Connect feature creates a temporary, encrypted pairing session on our servers to allow you to enter IPTV credentials on your phone and have them automatically delivered to your Apple TV. By using this feature, you acknowledge:

• Your credentials are transmitted over HTTPS and are stored on our servers only for the duration of the pairing session (maximum 10 minutes).
• The session is permanently deleted immediately after your Apple TV retrieves the credentials.
• You use this feature at your own risk and are responsible for keeping your pairing code confidential during the pairing window.

The Obelisk app, its design, logo, and all related content (excluding content from your IPTV provider) are owned by Obelisk and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your personal Apple devices in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

Obelisk is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all IPTV providers or playlists. Streaming quality and availability depend on your IPTV provider and internet connection.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Obelisk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of access to content, or service interruptions.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Obelisk at any time, with or without cause, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Obelisk shall be resolved in accordance with that law.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Obelisk after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
